I have few 2TB Red and 1TB RE4 drives.  No problems with either.
That said, all of them are less than 6 months old.

Seagate had a bad run there in the Barracuda ES.2 days - nearly every
500GB ES.2 I've used has been warranty replaced.  The newer
Constellation drives have been flawless.
