[Tfug] Looking for article on cross-browser support

Hi Everyone,

A few years ago, I remember reading some very well written 
articles extolling why organizations should support all browsers, 
not just the most popular. They included information geared 
toward key decision makers, as well as enough technical 
information and references to be usable by the technical team. A 
key piece of information I recall was that one should not use 
browser detection schemes, but should query whether the browser 
supports a particular feature.

I have not been able to find any useful articles. And I do not 
care to write it myself. Especially considering that the caliber 
of what I am looking for would take me a few days to write.

Do any of you have any saved references to this type of work?

In case it helps, I am looking for something that I can include 
in an email to an organization when their site fails to work on 
anything except IE, FF, Safari.
