Sorry, if this has been posted before. OpenStreetMap is a wiki-like map 
that anyone can edit. http://www.openstreetmap.org. The open-source 
license for the data is very permissive.

Tucson needs quite a bit of work and looking at the stats there are not 
many people working on it. :(

To try and give potential mappers ideas of where to start I created the 
following page that lists some projects:
