I can't speak for anyone else here, but off the top of my head, I would say
that your problem was attitude.
And just to be jerk I am going to throw this out there as well, from your
email:
"I have OWNED my own
business, and had the SAME hiring responsibilities as you folks and I have
come to learn that in order to have a prosperous and successful business..."
If you had a successful business you wouldn't be looking for work; so sorry,
to me this email seems like you should have slept on it before sending.
