Oh, no fair -- now you are qualifying the destruction of your laptop!
I much prefer the "no holds barred", and "let's reduce the entire
spectrum of possibilities to a single sweeping generalization"
approach to things.

Humor aside, I must confess a certain amount of interest in this nutty
thread.  The provocative nature of the original post seems to have
inspired a number of intelligent and thoughtful responses.  Thanks,
