You know i was checking out solaris, and they seem
to be doing some Open Source thing. I dl'd the disk
but it wouldn't boot. There are a whole range of OS's
here

don't ask me why they have all the versions. I just
tried nexentaOS b/c it seemed linux-like in that it
was gnu based
