[Tfug] mail problem

Well, I fixed the problem, or at least made it go away, but I don't know if
it will gum up something else. What I did was shuffle the order of DNS
servers in my resolv.conf file. The original order was:

localserver.here.com
ISP_DNS1.isp.com
ISP_DNS2.isp.com
backupDNS.there.com

to

ISP_DNS1.isp.com
ISP_DNS2.isp.com
localserver.here.com
backupDNS.there.com

where the two ISP_DNS machines are my IDP's DNS servers. This not only
cleared up the mail queue delay, but also a delay I was seeing in making
ssh connections to remote machines. I don't know if downshuffling my local
DNS server in resolv.conf is going to cause me any problems, but so far so
good.
