Sorry I could not participate in the discussion earlier.

My sever is up and running great. I said that yesterday on several
occasions. Qwest is actually excellent choice if you want to run http,
ftp or mail server. Ports are not blocked and for $5.99 extra a month
you can get static IP address which is really necessary if you want to
run mail server for instance. Most places will bounce messages sent
from the dynamic IP (not all).

By the way sendmail Mail Transfer Agent is configured by default on
your FreeBSD box.
If you want to receive mail you have to edit rc.conf file with
sendmail_enable="YES"
but be carefully since you have to properly configure spam filter for instance.

To access sendmail you have to use Mail Client. The easiest to use by
default is
mail. Just type mail  and email address and the rest is self explanatory.
To finish message go to empty line type   . (dot) then enter.
