That is a VERY GOOD web site. Unfortunately, I did hard way by trail and error.
It is very good to know the location of that web site.

I saw that port forwarding is clearly explained. Unfortunately they
have no article about  changing the set of rules so that the local
machine behind the modem could be used as a http, ftp, mail server as
well as few other options like telnet (which you should NEVER use any
way, just use ssh)
These options are listed under the tab advanced configuration. When
you open that tub you will get a bunch of options grouped in
subgroups. One of them security
 	

Security

Admin User Name and Password (Allows you to change the Admin User Name
and Password)

Advanced Port Forwarding (Allows by port number the ability to bypass
the Gateway's built-in firewall, allowing access to parts of the
network.)

Applications (Allows by application the ability to bypass the
Gateway's built-in firewall, allowing access to parts of the network.

DMZ Hosting (Used to support online gaming and Internet conferencing services.)

Changing the set of rules so you can do web, mail or ftp server is
under Applications

Again you should not use ftp server option since Openssh comes with
sftp (secure file transfer protocol)
