Munpack decodes stuff that Thunderbird chokes on.  In particular those 
forwarded .emi files.  Despite what the documentation says, it decodes 
all MIME/BASE64 attachments in an email.

After you do make, do NOT make install.  Find the man files and rename 
them to be Linux compatible.  Then, as root, cp the files into the 
appropriate directories.

I repeat, do not make install.  This is important.

This is an abandoned program.  It has not been updated since 1994.
