Hi,

First up - thanks, Joshua & Peter.

So here's the good news - I got Samba to see the folder; I can browse files
in it & what-not. What finally worked was:
$ /usr/bin/smbclient --user ecoprint //Eller-2ks/Economics\ Common

Thank you! :)

Just for the record, this is the output from the other suggestions:

[wafa at eller253191 wafa]$ /usr/bin/smbclient \\\\Eller-2ks\\Economics/Common
-U ecoprint
Password:
Domain=[ELLER] OS=[Windows Server 2003 3790] Server=[Windows Server 2003
5.2]
tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME

[root at eller253191 wafa]# mount -t smbfs -o
username=ecoprint //Eller-2ks/"Economics Common" /mnt/sdrive
Password:
read_socket_with_timeout: timeout read. read error = Connection reset by
peer.
5107: session setup failed: Read error: Connection reset by peer
SMB connection failed

Which brings me to the bad news - it refuses to mount the folder.
(My Samba version is 3.0.2a, which should be fine, right?)
I also tried:
[root at eller253191 wafa]# mount -t smbfs -o
username=ecoprint //Eller-2ks/Economics\ Common /mnt/sdrive
Password:
read_socket_with_timeout: timeout read. read error = Connection reset by
peer.
5195: session setup failed: Read error: Connection reset by peer
SMB connection failed

(& before you ask, yes /mnt/sdrive has been created; it sits there, empty &
waiting.)

According to everything Google throws up, I seem to be using the right
command. So, once again, what am I doing wrong? Any help & suggestions are
appreciated........

Thanks again,
Wafa.
