To those who offered assistance with my Cisco 678, Thank You!

Thank you Gregory Gray for pointing me to the documentation on how to to a
complete refresh.

On the one that had lost it's ability to communicate via eth0, I got it
working.

This was the one where I could not ping 10.0.0.1 however I could use the
management software which uses the eth0 connection.

I did a full erase and reinstalled the image and did a new configuration.
It now works.

>From everything I read this is a common problem.  From what you have told me
this is a problem with the configuration, mainly the "firewall/nat"
becomming corrupted.

I have a second Cisco 678 that works intermittently that I am going to redue
to see if that is the problem.
