do an "lspci" and an "lspci -v" and an "lspci -n", and report them back
to the list.
IBM has used Cisco internal cards, Lucent Internal, Prism2/2.5 based
internal cards, and Atheros based cards, and quite probably broadcom
based cards. The broadcoms are SOL, but the Atheros 802.11a/b/g can be
made to work with very little binary glue (due to FCC regs), the others
should work quite easily.
