What I do for a living:
I beat stupid people over the head mercilessly. I wish. But on the
serious side I do Prodigy Technical Support (can that be classified as
technical? Teaching someone how to right-click, I mean...). I used to do
Windows XP support but this other *fascinating* project (not sarcasm)
came along and I just had to volunteer (read: I would have been fired if
I didn't).
What I do in my spare time:
Disk section Grimoire co-guru for Sourcemage Linux (www.sourcemage.org),
and occasional coder of something cool for the sorcery tool.
What I am good at:
Perl debugging (only because there is so little of it to be done :) )
Visual Basic (stop laughing!)
Interface design
Web Design
CGI scripting
Database Administration
Solaris Administration
Windows (yes I do Windows)
Networking on medium (500-950 client) scale.
What I am fair at:
Makefile debugging
Bash scripting
Tcl modifying (not good enough to write my own...)
Flash Animation
What I could do, if coerced:
C debugging
ASP design
PHP3
Distros:
Sourcemage Linux (www.sourcemage.org)
Server 24/7, client sometimes. See
http://warlock.servebeer.com:3000/sysinfo
Debian
RedHat
Slackware (is that even considerable as a "distribution"?)
OpenBSD (though I suck at it)
FreeBSD (I suck even worse at it)
Solaris
VMS
OpenVMS (there's a diff)
Gentoo
LFS
