[Tfug] a desperate cry for help

    ok i was wondering if there are any python programmers on the list 
that have experience working with both windows and linux.  i have been 
working on a app for the past 1.5 months and i finally got it mostly 
finished last night.  it is written entirely in python and uses 
libglade, gtk, and gadfly.  the app's target platform is windows.  i 
chose python because i was fairly good at it already, and *suposedly* it 
should be reletivly easy (zero to very little work) to port it to any 
operating system.   so after i finished last night, i tried moving it to 
windows after installing python 2.1 and all of the correct libraries. 
 no dice.  im running into quite few problems, and wierd errors that 
don't make much sense.  i have so far tried it on two windows boxes both 
running windows 2000, and it is not working on either.  so i was hoping 
someone might have a python build box that they wouldn't mind testing it 
out on, or someone with experience doing somthing similar would be 
willing to help.  any help would be greatly appreciated.  thanks
