[Tfug] cisco678 issue

Hello,

I had tow cisco678's die on me.  On the last one I was able to hyperterm
into it and ping outside however from my network I could not ping the
gateway (10.0.0.1).  qwest checked on their end and said all was well.

It appeared as if eth0 died.

Anyone have any similar... any advice on resurecting the old guy?

Seems the actiontec has an issue with port forwarding.. I've upgraded the
firmware as suggested however I have not been able to get it to work.....So
I would like to fix my cisco if possible.

I was told the cisco had a heating problem....???? anyone have this
experience?

Any ideas / feedback appreciated.
