Hello,
Well I've been having fun. The eth0 port died on my Cisco678 on 12/17....
Qwest finally got me an actiontec today.
All is. I think. The document CD came with a large crack. Go figure!
So I'm trying to configure port forwarding to no avail.
I am not able to forward port 80 so my server can be seen.
Here is what I have been doing.
Advanced settings > port forwarding.
Then I enter 1 of several configurations.
Ip port rang range 80-80
Protocol - both (I have tried with two records, one for tcp and one for udp)
Ip address 10.0.0.100 (server address - I'm running a 10.0.0.0 network and I
can ping all)
Then I add and save/restart.
Or I use the advance form
IP PORT RANGE 80-80
PROTOCOL UDP and/or TCP (One record for both or two - one each)
IP ADDRESS 10.0.0.100 (my Server)
REMOTE IP PORT RANGE 80-80
REMOTE IP ADDRESS either 10.0.0.1 (gateway) or 66.192.159.4 (my static ip)
or the default of "anyip"
I'm lost and need some help.
Thanks in advance.
