I dumped their Cable TV service too.  Went with Dish Network (more 
channels, better picture quality) and it turns out my Dish/Qwest combo 
runs $17/mth less too.

SBC just fired the opening salvo in what is sure to be a new round of 
price cuts.  Cable co's in SBC's geographic area will be under lots of 
pressure to respond.
