[Tfug] Weird video behavior (ThinkPad A31)

Thanks!  I didn't have these options at all in my config, but I added 
yours and it stops that annoying block that follows the cursor.  
Unfortunately there is still a major problem with the system that I 
think can only be explained as a HW issue since it's occuring during 
POST.

Anyone have any idea on what a new ThinkPad motherboard runs?  My model 
ThinkPad on eBay is still in the $400-$700 range and buying something 
like that off eBay makes me nervous anyhow.
