I had with problem on Windows after a program installed custom fonts.
Adobe Acrobat 8, OpenOffice and other online create pdf sites couldn't
do it, Didn't work from LInux either even after installing the custom
fonts everything displayed fine in Office and Open Office but the pdf
would have a few widgets were these special fonts were to be. PS2PDF
worked great though on linux and windows. Maybe its not broken the PDF
exporter just can create that font so it replaces it. But I'm sure if
you keep trying to fix it it will be broken. How much have you spent
"fixing it" vs. just using the workaround?
