Hi,
Yes, Jon is right, I was an original member of SLUG (starnet Linux users group) , which became TFUG.
And I am still around. I still teach Linux for Pima, and my "day job" is in enterprise storage for IBM.
OSEF is basically dormant and has been for some time. I keep involved in educational technology by volunteering on TUSDs technology over site committee.

Hi,
I am not sure who it was but so many years ago, there was a project from a guy in Tucson and I believe a TFUGmember.
He was making these client machines forthe local schools.
So, like, I would like to connectwith him or anyone who knows something about thisproject.
Stormy Peters is doing an effort inMexico and other countries to bring some GNU products to schoolsthere.
Even if that school client machineisn't still active, I'd like to talk to anyone who knows anything aboutthin clients for students.
Thanks!_______________________________________________
