Hi,
I don't watch much TV. OTOH, there are several shows that
have always managed to get me to sit down to watch them
in countless "reruns"!
Apparently, PBS (6) is now airing the Britcom "Coupling".
Saturday evenings at 11:30P and again monday mornings at
12:30A (i.e., if you miss the Sat show, you get a second
chance to view it ~25 hours later).
If you liked off-the-wall things like "SOAP" or "My Hero",
you'd probably enjoy this! Of course, their idea of "English"
differs from what *we* consider "English"... and, there are
many cultural references that might be too subtle for folks
unfamiliar with British culture/comedy. But, there are
enough blatant laughs to make up for any oversights, there!
It's still early in the "series" so you've not missed much
(except hundreds of laughs!). I have tried suggesting it
as an "acquisition" for the local library (so I can watch
it whenever I want! :> ) but the folks who make those
decisions are apparently fuddy-duddies! (I had also
suggested "Cashback" but that went nowhere. OTOH, they
did purchase "Rubber" -- which was truly unique!)
See <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0237123/>. The upcoming
episode is "Inferno" (Season 1, Episode 4). Much funnier
if you understand the characters ahead of time but funny
regardless!
Hope you enjoy it as much as I have, in the past!
