[Tfug] Graphics card opinion

For general use, Intel makes fine video cards. For any gaming at all,
however, they are useless. An AMD 3xxx card is 3 or 4 generations old, so
they work fine for the gaming load of 4-year-old games and are prone to
strain under anything heavier. If you had an I5 or I7, the onboard video
card could outperform a dedicated video card that old. But you're running a
core duo, so the integrated video is probably a few generations behind
Intel's current models as well.

So... are you experiencing graphic slowdown? Are you sure it is graphic in
nature? If so, better video card couldn't hurt. But unless you're doing a
lot of 3D or games, I can't imagine that you are. And in that case, a newer
cpu is more likely what you need.
