[Tfug] fsck question

Yes,
      In my case, the block held critical data, and there was no 
recovery. How did the media get that way
in the first place? Well, I was performing a build, and Tucson Electric 
Power decided to have a dropout.
      I still have the (SCSI) drive, but the box went to RISE for
