I use AuthSMTP to relay for me. It costs $24 a year and gets around 
problems like dynamic domains and port 25 outgoing being blocked. It 
won't help if port 25 incoming is blocked but you say that isn't the 
case for you. I have been running my own email server for 10 years and 
the main benefit is I can use IMAP and all my mail is stored on one of 
my machines and I can access from anywhere on my network, or the web if 
I open a hole in the router. I like it that way.
