Phil,
Yes, and I'm well aware of the fact that OS X and iOS are non-free.
All I said was that I was interested in comparing iOS 4 to the latest
Android release.
Personally, I could care less what a given *nix box infront of me was.
As a programmer or an admin, I only care if it's POSIX or not. It's
been close to 20 years now, and Linux still isn't fully POSIX-
compliant. Guess which free Unix *is*? Darwin.
So, why are you promoting a not-fully-POSIX solution like Linux ahead
of Darwin? ;)
