I hope that Linux is not morphing its way to a death song! In fact my 70 yr old mother finds this to be much easier to use than her windows 7 laptop! If you look at things like peppermint I think you will find Linux is looking to the future. Or should we not look at android and abandon it! Yes the Iphone is the king once again due to androids innovations moving the evolution along. And Windows sees Linux as its #1 competition. With that in mind should we not accept that the Apple OS has had it's day and should now accept that it is nothing but a mobile device? The ipod, itouch and ipad being the only market it should be in? Linux has found markets in server, desktop, cloud, and mobile markets. I don't think you can call it dead yet with that much growth in the four yrs that I have been playing with it. In fact I have seen over just the last two yr's that many services were Linux need not even try two yrs ago being supported by a more and more company's. One example Web site hosting company's are making themselves more open to Linux. voip is another example. Just my thoughts that Linux is not dieing.
