I take it your LCD only has an analog/dvi input(s)?  (some
have SVIDEO and/or composite video)

If you are looking for a free and/or software solution, I think you
are SOL.  Depending on the capabilities of your LCD panel (and
how closely the gamecube complies with RS-170) you might be able
to hack something together.
