I haven't used the newest PC-BSD but I had no issues installing the previous
versions. The install was straight forward and the nvidia drivers were
installed at the time of install. I think it can be a good choice for
someone that wants to get to know FreeBSD but doesn't feel they are up to
doing a standard FreeBSD install.

ended up having to add other software through ports. I am guessing there are
more PBI's available now then there were when I had it installed.
