[Tfug] Lucid Release Party

Hi, I'm just curious as to whether or not there would be any interest in
        a Release Party come it's release in April. I have not heard
        anything
        about such an even going down from the LoCo and as a matter of
        fact the
        only thing I've heard up to this point is that PLUG is going to
        be
        helping out with the installfest up there in the valley. If
        there is any
        real interest in this, I can let a few reps from Phoenix know
        about it
        and start planning something out... Of course, we don't need
        permission
        from the LoCo to do something like this, but I thought that it
        might be
        nice to have some representation from some of those guys. 
        
        I was thinking that for those of us who have some time invested
        with the
        project we could introduce ourselves and what we are doing
        and/or
        learning and contributing as well as lectures by various people
        on
        various subjects.
        
        Again, this is nothing more than an idea I'd like to float
        around
        starting now, that way we can have enough time to plan the
        time/place. I
        would personally like to stay away from restaurant and would
        like to
        have a nice room at one of the pcc campuses or the UA due to the
        fact
        that we wouldn't have to compete for space and fight to be
        heard. 
        
        While I would like to do this at one of the above locations, I
        don't
        have the connections at either of the colleges so I'm hoping
        that
        someone on this list would.
        
        Again, you can think of this email as a test of the waters. If
        there is
        a bit of interest down here, I think it would be something that
        we could
        pull off and make happen really well. I have a couple contacts
        who
        wouldn't mind coming down from Phoenix to join the festivities
        as long
        as it's not on the same day as the one that is going on up
        there, and
        are more than willing to contribute to the lectures etc that
        would be
        given if that's something that sounds interesting. 
        
        Now, I have access to CDs stickers and such from the LoCo that
        we could
        also pass out to attendees but I'm not quite sure that at that
        point as
        to whether or not it would be Lucid on said disks, however I
        would be
        more than happy to find out the details on that.
        
        Let me know what you guys think and when the time comes and we
        can get
        more details of the event going we can start moving from there.
