aha.  This is good stuff.

I just did a "man make" and am trying to understand the syntax of the make 
command.

make -f arduino?

Sorry, I *don't* run any of the linux distributions so I
can't help you there.

Under the *BSD package system, I can just "make fetch-list"
and see what I'll need (more or less).
