You might try VMWare Server.
I'd suggest Xen, but it requires hardware virtualization support for
non-DomU native OS's.

Long term that will serve you better.
The fact that Intel even sells a processor without those features is
pretty lame, IMHO. It isn't all that new - Intel has put them in
since with the Pentium 4 6x2 series and Pentium D 9x0 series
processors years ago.
