[Tfug] Document management?

Anyone have any experience with document management systems?  I've looked
at open-source solutions from Alfresco and Knowledge Tree, but in the
(albeit limited)
testing I've done, either they don't hold up well, or they were a giant
hassle to get
setup.

I'm not looking for anything too feature-heavy, though Office integration
would be nice.
The ability to edit documents in the browser would be nifty, but it's not a
requirement.

Has anyone done this with Subversion or CVS and had success?
