Hi,
Just FYI, you can easily change the PuTTY copy/paste behavior. In the
settings dialog, go to Window->Selection. Under "Action of mouse buttons"
there are three choices, one of which is what you are getting (the default),
and another of which is the normal X11 way of doing things. I prefer the X11
style regardless of what OS I am running PuTTY on.
