Inline is best, IMHO.  The problem is it's hard to do from mobile
devices, or other limited editing environments.   Bottom posting comes
second, and top posting dead last.

I have to repost my favorite joke about this debate:

A: Because it's hard to follow.
Q: Why shouldn't I top post?
