I ran FBSD from 0.9 through about 2.2.  I was quite happy
with it -- until the quality of the "ports" collection
started tanking (emphasis shifted towards "quantity"
over quality).

I've been running NBSD since.  Seems to be more emphasis on
stability than on creeping featurism.
