Ah, more comical nonsense from Señor Poag.

I am happy that you have found happiness with
Darwin/Hackintosh/Whatever. I don't seem to recall much "guff" in
response to your joyous proclamations of the ascendancy of D/H/W, nor
to your foreboding predictions of doom for the Linux desktop.
However, I do seem to recall quite a number of insightful comments and
clarifications from several other posters, and I even thanked you for
eliciting these responses. It was a good example of how a bit of
adversity can bring out the better nature of people.

On the other hand, if your goal is proselytizing others into adopting
the D/H/W, I think you would probably have more success by inviting
people to some kind of demo event of D/H/W, or perhaps even a
install-fest, at which you could serve as a guide. If you really want
to fulfill the role of the prophetic OS adventurer, then you might
consider leading by example, rather than by making gross, and
frequently inaccurate, generalizations.

In the meantime, I hope you don't mind if I continue to use my
far-from-dead and quite non-mainstream Linux desktop. ;-)
