Skype is available for the ipod touch.  There are three caveats.  You must
buy the $80 earbuds with inline mic for the 2nd generation ipod touch and
the screen remains active the entire time it is in use.  Because the OS
doesn't support multitasking you must have skype open to receive calls,
which is not practial.

If you could do skype from the ipod touch I would buy one in a heart beat!
I want a device that has wireless capabilites that I can run skype on
without having to have a cell phone contract...
