[Tfug] "No modules loaded"

Sorry to respond to my own post, but I forgot to mention that the real
stumper is that all of the other modules seem to be loading just fine.
 So the syslog error about no modules being loaded seems to
misleading.

The only driver loading error in the log I can see is in regard to the
wi-fi card:

ath_pci: Unknown symbol _ath_hal_attach

Further digging indicates that it could be an issue with the 2.6.22
686 (non-generic) kernel
