Alright, people didn't go for that for various reasons. One of them
being that you can't track changes.

So I've been working on this stuff and I think there is something
wrong with my approach. So here's the run-down:

1. you have a table that links to various folders, all containing
similar documents
2. I'm trying to use a template, and a scripting language, any
scripting language, but I was thinking php.
3. when a link in a table gets clicked, it calls a script that fills
in the some variables in template to build the webpage for a
document's revisions and other associated files.

The problem that I'm running into is that as far as I can tell, there
is no way of passing information, i.e. parameters to a script if it's
called from a link, as opposed to a form. If I could do this, this
would be a very simple page.

Any suggestions? It would be really awesome if the above statement
about scripts, links and parameters were wrong. A google search didn't
help. I thought Smarty might be a solution too, I think it's bound by
the anchor/link limitation as well.

~ Chris
