[Tfug] securing ubuntu server

thanks for the suggestions so far everyone.

@paul - i will definitely check out apparmor.
@matt - if it were up to me, i would have chosen gentoo to get a minimal
install. :)  i was told to use ubuntu so that's what i have to work with.
as far as iptables goes, i don't think that's a real necessity since it is
behind an ipcop firewall.
@glen - i'm using the server edition 8.04.1.
