lol. Yes, unfortunately the IT staff could be better. Many requests have 
gone unheeded, and so they have asked me to come help. These 'ways' of 
getting admin looks like what i'll be doing next weekend. I wrote a 
windows question on a linux list...and linux recovery disks turned out 
to be the answer. Bam!
