 From reviews, D*mnSmallLinux seems to be the distro of choice for P1/P2 
with 32-64M.  I have used it on a P2/266 64M using flash ram with no 
complaints for ssh and basic browsing.  Firefox is slow and I never go 
the wireless right.  Xububtu worked well on a P3/450 with 512M.  Right I 
am using TinyMe on that P3.  And finally to keep from being flamed, I 
have put Debian 4 on a P2 400 with 128M and it works surprising well 
with fluxbox.  Hopefully you have better stuff than I do....
