just because i know Lilo and it was allways easy to config. i did try to
install Grub from the DVD,
but it failed too :-( . Could this be a BIOS problem, or a
distro-hardware issue? Where are all those
here saying "its simple as shoving in a DVD". In a way they're right, I
guess, the install went fairly well
(little things like vim failed). Only problem is, it's not bootable.
another disto? net install to get a bootable minimal sys?
