Short notice? I have eight weeks to get Cox cable or Qwest
DSL installed and functional.

Nice advertisement. This is good for Tucson only, right?.
It's too bad simply bits does not appear to be positioned to
address the numerous locations Sprint BBD was deployed
nationwide. Or are they using that website to refer
potential customers to other Canopy platform providers?

While we are mentioning amusing marketing BS, those radio
commercials some provider airs make me chuckle. You know the
ones, where they purport to say broadband utilizing
antiquated wires is inferior to fixed wireless broadband.
(wires are only good for catching fish and stuff.)

Tell that to the customer who had a deployment quickly fail
because the installer tried a shot between two trees which
changed geometry later. You'd think they might have heard
about the fresnel effect. Oh well, substitute a higher gain
antenna and boost the elevation. That will be OK until the
trees grow more.

In five years from now, WiMax will be seriously under
deployment and Qwest's Fiber to home offering may be
available.

Where will fixed wireless be then? What is the future for
it?

John
