I attempted to remove the passphrase via 'openssl rsa -in apache.pem -out apache.pem' but the server wouldn't load the new file with the following error, [error] Init: Unable to read server certificate from file /etc/apache2/ssl/apache.pem Both the original and new PEM files are ASCII and look valid, not that that helps. If there are any professionals in the audience I am willing to pay to have someone come out and fix this if you are interested. I feel like I'm wasting my time trying to troubleshoot this on my own. Thanks for any more advise you may have on this! -Mark L> Date: Mon, 21 Jul 2008 10:45:37 -0700> From: m at mattjacob.com> To: tfug at tfug.org> Subject: Re: [Tfug] Troubleshooting Apache crashing> > Mark Leinhos wrote:> > One thing that I'm sure someone could fix for me right away is the SSL > > pass phrase.
