Yes, the pchdtv cards are the "default" dtv/hdtv cards for linux
boxes.  In the past year or two, Linux Journal discussed them as part
of their MythTV setup.  If you Google around, you might be able to
find the article.  (I think that it was part of their "Ultimate Linux
Box" issue, but am not positive.)  Haven't heard of anything for a
notebook though.
