Oh, hplip is also based on cups, which causes my system
to crash. This is a FreeBSD issue more than CUPS. I
imagine it will be fixed soon, since there is already
a patch for it. Apparently the patch is just an ad-hoc
thing, so I've decided to reserve trying to use it for
a last option
