[Tfug] nfs home folder

Yes, the UofA's u.arizona.edu general computing system has home
directories and /usr/local (among others) mounted via NFS.  It works
fine.  I haven't run NFS over a low bandwidth link so I don't know how
it'll perform for you on the road.
