I'm wondering if anyone has used mobile broadband (cellular) into a "server" that is a gateway/router used to connect a LANS via ethernet.
I'm not sure the throughput would meet your needs, but none the less an interesting concept.

their control, and the fact I am at the edge of their service, I have
basically been without internet for over a week. I have been commuting
between Casa Grande and Tucson borrowing my parents internet.
My concern is that this outage will actually become a more permanent
thing given that it is only a small portion of their clientele that
are affected, and the difficulty of finding a suitable place for a new
tower (not to mention I am sure there is a bit of work and red tape to
get one setup). I am trying to be prepared and proactive in finding a
solution, as my job is in question if I can't be at my computer and
online.
Thank you though, it is a good suggestion, and those who can't get
normal broadband (or even if you do) Simplybits is an awesome service
and I have had no issues with them for over a year. Which is not
typical of my experiences with cable and dsl broadband.. :)
Sincerely,
